Terms and Conditions

 

Terms and conditions

The terms and conditions are between DEEcor Function Hire & Events Planning and the hirer (person or organization hiring the products) and by hiring from us you are agreeing with our terms and conditions. All goods hired and are the responsibility of the hirer until they are returned to us.  The rented equipment remains the property of DEEcor Function Hire & Events Planning.

 

Hire Period

Hire period is normally for 3 days. This can be extended if agreed upon in advance but will incur a surcharge of 20% per day. If your booking is for a weekend pick up would normally be on a Friday and return on the Monday. If no arrangements are made in advance of hiring and items are returned late, hire fee will be charged for each day that the items are late.  Amounts does not include deliveries.  

 

Broken or lost items

If an item is lost or returned to us in a condition whereby we cannot hire it out again, the hirer will be liable for the full replacement cost.Cutlery and crockery that are returned dirty or containing pieces of fruit or food will be charged a 25% cleaning fee. 

 

It is important that you check your items carefully upon collection and sign the accompanying delivery note accordingly. Please bring to our attention any problem with your order at this time. Upon signing you are fully responsible for the care of all the items and are expected to return them to us in good order.

 

Packaging

There will be an additonal fee charged if items are not returned in the packaging in which it left our premises, chairs must be stacked, decor must be packed in containers provided.  All hired property of DEEcor Function Hire & Events Planning, including furniture, linen, carpets and decor, must be stored in a safe and sheltered location, when not in use.  

 

Checking and Signing

It is very important that you check your items carefully upon delivery and sign the accompanying delivery note accordingly. Please bring to our attention any problem with your order at this time. Upon signing you are fully responsible for the care of all the items and are expected to return them to us in good order.

 

Liability

DEEcor Function Hire & Events Planning, E. Engelbrecht, her agents and or sub-contractors will accept no responsibility for damage,  injury or death caused to people and pets or damage to property or product as a result of this hire arrangement, unless negligence on the part of us can be shown. All goods are hired and are the responsibility of the hirer until they are returned to us.

 

Payment

Payment must be made via internet transfer. Banking details will be on your invoice. The full amount of your order is payable to secure your booking. The equipment hire deposit are refundable if there is no loss or damage to any of the equipment. Refundable deposit is payable after collection has been checked. This amount will not be the same for every order. Please enquire about deposit amount.

 

Cancellation

Please note that the hire fee is non refundable should you wish to cancel your booking not in advance time.  No refunds will be given on any stock purchased, hired in from another company, ordered by, customer if the booking is cancelled.

 

If any items was purchased on customers request and the event is cancelled or items is not hired (Not included in final invoice), the full amount of purchased items will be payeble, (at purchase price & not hire amount).  Items will remain the property of DEEcor Function Hire & Events Planning.
